Hiking

The Region has got the ideal track for everyone’s needs. The relaxed hiker will find an impressing mountain and meadow scenery with crystal-clear lakes and numerous opened alpine huts, which will care for your well-being, in the alpine paradise Gaistal. The more demanding hiker and the experienced mountain climber will be amazed by a multitude of challenging summits and marvellous views in the Gaistal valley and the Karwendel mountain range in Scharnitz.

Mountain Biking

Those who prefer to experience the surroundings by bike, will find a huge amount of biking tracks – all levels of difficulty – in the Gaistal valley and the Karwendel mountain range. The various alpine huts will spoil you with regional delicacies and Tyrolean titbits. Of course you may also enjoy the warm sunrays drinking a cool beer.




Swimming

A 25 m sports pool, an outdoor pool, a large water slide as well as a children area and an unique sauna world are only some of the features that make the swimming pool Leutasch to one of the most beautiful pools in Österreich. The sauna world is a real feel-good oasis with bio sauna, finish sauna, hay sauna, Kelo blockhouse sauna, steam bath and infra red cabin. Spirit Gorge

Explore the famous empire of the Spirit of the gorge in Leutasch. Be inspired by thundering waters and strange rock formations, in which the Spirit of the gorge gets up to all sorts of mischief. Ganghofer Museum

Fishing centre

The lake Weidachsee in the centre of Leutasch especially handles breeding the Leutasch brook trout. In the new-built fishing centre you may have a good cup of coffee and a cake in a wonderful ambiance. You may also decide to do a relaxing walk around the lake.


Innsbruck

The Tyrolean capital Innsbruck is only 30 km away and fascinates with a number of attractions, i.e. the new-built Bergisel Museum, the modern cable railway Hungerburgbahn or the Innsbruck symbol – the Golden Roof. Several popular shopping centres in and around the town will make shopaholics hearts beat faster.
